The trainees passing out of the Academy are issued "Pre-sea course for Ratings" completion certificate along with required five STCW course certificates. Trainees are also issued CDC(Continuous Discharge Certificate) by the Government of India, which qualifies them to take up a job as a Seaman Rating/Engine Room Rating on board any ship including oil tankers. Our trainees are in possession of a valid International Passport & Vaccination Certificate and are ready in all respects to join the vessels at very short notice.
