Pallavan Transport Consultancy Services Limited (PTCS), an Indian Company, wholly owned by Government of Tamilnadu was founded in 1984, with headquarters at Chennai, the crown metropolis of South India.  The Company provides consultancy services in the fields of Traffic and Transportation, Highway Engineering, Bus Engineering and Computerisation. Following its formation, the erstwhile consultancy services wings of the Institute of Road Transport and that of Pallavan Transport Corporation Limited have been merged with this Company.

The Board of this Company consists of 7 Directors with a part time Chairman and it is managed by a professional Managing Director. It provides consultancy advisory services, undertakes turnkey projects and renders technical and managerial assistance in all phases of Road Transport and Information Technology to Governments, local authorities and undertakings in India.  Endowed with rare infrastructure and expertise to tackle transport problems of developing countries of the world, it provides cost-effective solutions based on its experience.
