OLD MOTOR VEHICLES
At the time of assigning new registration mark under Sec.47 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, if the vehicle is registered on or after the date of commencement of the Tamil Nadu Motor Vehicles Taxation (Amendment) Act, 2003 and if its age from the month of such registration is:-

Note: Cost of the vehicle means the total price paid at the time of purchase as ascertained from the authorized dealer or manufacturer as the case may be (Circular No.46/2003). In respect of Imported Motor vehicles the cost of the vehicle as mentioned in the Bill of Entry |
