16th July 2004 Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Selvi J Jayalalithaa has rushed to Kumbakonam in Thanjavur district, where school children were killed in a fire mishap around noon today. On hearing the tragic news, the Chief Minister airdashed to visit the accident spot and oversee the rescue and relief operations.
