The Government direct that all the offices under the control of Government of Tamil Nadu be closed on the dates specified in this notification.

Though the Muharram the 20th January, 2008, Republic Day, the 26th January, 2008, Tamil New Year’s Day the 13th April, 2008, and Krishna Jayanthi, 23rd August, 2008 fall on Saturdays and Sundays they have been indicated in the above list for easy reference.
