TO ASSESS THE INTERSE MERIT OF CANDIDATES

Certain organization like National Board, AIIMS, PGIMER Chandigarh, Manipal University, KMC Mangalore, don’t issue final year Mark Sheet and only a Pass certificate for successful candidate). Due to the above fact, to maintain uniformity in assessing the interse merit of candidates who have applied for Higher Specialty courses for the year 2008 – 09 session, the sub clause(b) under clause 52 has not been applied to assess the interse merit. The sub clauses (a), (c) and (d) under clause 52 have been taken into account in the above mentioned order to assess the interse merit.
Due to Non availability of Final PG mark sheet for DNB Candidates, the clause (b) could not be applied throughout. In the event of deletion of clause (b), it is possible to apply next two clauses in order to assess interse merit for all applicable candidates. Hence the clause (b) was deleted for consideration to assess the interse merit. The sub clauses (a), (c), and (d) under clause 52 have been taken into account in the above mentioned order to assess the interse merit.
