1. The Selection to Higher Speciality Courses will be made by counselling based only on merit and no communal reservation will be followed.

2. 50% of the seats available in each discipline and in each college are reserved for open category and another 50% of seats will be exclusively for service candidates.

3. Service candidates by virtue of their open merit are eligible to take seats in the open category.

4. Seats in the service category will be filled up based only on the service merit.

The following Certificates should be produced in Original at the time of counselling without fail.

1. Evidence for Date of Birth

2. Post Graduate Degree / Provisional Certificate

3. Permanent Medical Registration Certificate

4. Additional Qualification Registration Certificate

5. Eligibility Certificate for candidates who have acquired Post Graduate Degree

from Universities other than the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University,Chennai.
