RURAL MOBILE LIBRARY

The main object of the rural mobile library working under the control of the District Central Library is to create awareness about the education and reading habit among the people. Those who are living in remote villages where the library services are not easily acceptable.

INSTITUTIONAL MEMBER

Educational Institutions like higher Secondary, High School, Elementary School are enrolled as members on payment of Rs.200, Rs.100 and Rs.50 and deposit respectively. Institutions can borrow books from the library and read the books may also exchanged. The object of this scheme is utilization of more books at lesser deposit. Education Institution can also enroll themselves as institutional members of this library.

PHILANTHROPIST

Philanthropist are solicit to donate Rs.1000/- or part there of will be registered as Library patron and issue the Receipt immediately on payment. The received amount will be deposited in the bank and the accumulated interest will be utilized for the purpose of procuring magazines, journals etc., for the benefit of the readers in the library. Philanthropist will also be honored by issuing a certificate. The amount payable is exempted under section 80G Income Tax Act.

LINKAGE OF LIBRARIES WITH SCHOOLS

Linkage with Schools the Library Staffs will issue and take return of the books bimonthly to the school students for the purpose of inducing them, the reading habits in an early stage which will encourage them to study and gain knowledge for their future
