District Central Library is the only Library exclusive for general publics plays an important role in dissemination of knowledge among the user community.

• An officer of the head of department of study of the universities in coimbatore

* MEMBERSHIP

Any person residing in the coimbatore and its immediately can become a member. A member can borrow a maximum of three books at a time by depositing Rs.50 for home reading and returnablwith in 14 days. An Annual subscription of Rs.10 per member is collected for each financial year.
