WELFARE SCHEME

Being an apex handloom cooperative society, Co-optex has also been designated as nodal agency by the State Government to implement housing scheme for weavers namely   “House-cum-Workshed Scheme“ under which subsidies are available from the Government of India and the State Government besides loan component released by the HUDCO with the government guarantee. Further, Co-optex also contribute to the “Saving and Security Scheme” of the State Government under which if a handloom weaver dies before the age of 60 years, his nominee gets Rs.50,000 from the State Government and Rs.15,000 from out of the funds of Cooptex.
