ORDER:

The Government in their orders first read above, have issued orders for the reconstitution of State Level Committee for the selection and recommendation of young persons and voluntary youth organizations to the Government of India for the National Youth Award.

2. Consequent on the formation of a new department called "Youth Welfare and Sports Development Department in the G.O. second read above, the Director of Collegiate Education and NSS State Co-ordinator has sent a proposal to the Government for the re-constitution of the above Selection Committee.

3. The Government after careful consideration, have decided to reconstitute the above Committee as suggested by the Director of Collegiate Education, Chennai and accordingly issue orders for the reconstitution of the State Level NSS Award Selection Committee with the following members:

4. The Government also direct that the State Level NSS Award Selction Committee will also look after the work of selection of candidates for Indira Gandhi National NSS Award.

5.The Director of Collegiate Education and NSS State Co-ordinator is requested to communicate a copy of the G.O. to all the Members of the Committee.
