ORDER :-

In the Government Order first read above, orders were issued for the constitution of State and District Level Sports Promotion Committees with the following members with a view to utilize the services of coaches appointed under the National Coaching Scheme in a more effective manner and to achieve the excellence under the uniform effective coaching system :-

2.  Now the Member Secretary, Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu has stated that the terms of Non-Official Members of the Committee is two years and terms of Official Members is till the existence of the above Committees.  Hence the term of Non-Official Members of the State Level Sports Promotion Committee  lapsed on 25-11-2001.  He has further stated that the State Level Sports Promotion Committee has to be reconstituted under the Chairmanship of the Secretary to Government, Youth Welfare & Sports Development Department.

3. The Government have decided to accept the recommendation of the Member Secretary, Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu and accordingly reconstitute the State Level Sports Promotion Committee with the following members :-

4. There will be no change in the District level Sports Promotion Committee.

5. The Member Secretary, Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu is requested to reactivate the State Level Sports Promotion Committee immediately and arrange for its periodical meetings.
