In the Government Order  first cited, orders have been issued to the effect that the students studying above XII in Government Colleges and in Government aided colleges be issued 50% concessional travel bus passes and exchange tokens issued to college students travelling in Metropolitan Transport Corporation buses to travel from their residence to Colleges/Library and back to their residence and that the said concessional bus passes are not valid on holidays except the Republic Day and Independence Day.

2. I am directed to state that the Government Colleges and Government aided Colleges referred to in para 1 above are inclusive of Government Polytechnics and Industrial Training Institutes  and Government aided Polytechnics and Industrial Training Institutes and other similar Government run and Government aided Educational Institutions.
