ORDER:

Sanction is hereby accorded to Director of Information & Public Relations, Chennai to incur an expenditure not exceeding to Rs.1,50,000 /- (Rupees One lakh fifty thousand only) for setting up of a Pavilion of the Information and Public Relations in the 33^rd India Tourist and Industrial Fair to be held at Chennai during December 2006 to February 2007 as ordered in the G.O. read above.

2)Under Article 99 of the Tamil Nadu Financial Code Vol-I, the Accounts Officer (Exhibition), Information and Public Relations Department, Chennai is authorized to draw the amount sanctioned in para 1 above, in advance, in full or in part. The advance drawn should be adjusted with detailed bills and vouchers within the stipulated time limit. For the drawal of advance, the procedure prescribed in Govt. Memo No.136439/Sal./80-1 Finance Department, Dated 31.1.1981 is hereby relaxed as a special case.

3) The expenditure is debitable to "2220 Information and Publicity – I Non Plan – AH Exhibition – 08 Advertising and Publicity – 02 Exhibition" (DPC No.2220 60 106 AH 0822)

4) This order does not require the concurrence of Finance Department vide G.O.Ms.No.519, Finance (Salaries) Department, Dated 29.9.1997.
