ORDER :

In the G.O. first read above, orders were issued sanctioning an amount of Rs.1.50/- Crores for modernization of kitchens in 750 school NMP Centres in 13 districts at the rate of Rs.20,000/- per Centre.

2) The Director of Social Welfare in his letter second read above has sent the draft Tender Conditions for supply of LPG Gas Stove and other materials for approval of the Government.

3) After detailed examination of the proposal of the Director of Social Welfare, the Government approve the tender conditions for supply of LPG Gas Stove and other materials and direct that LPG Gas Stove and other materials as per the specification given in the annexure to this order shall be supplied to the 750 school NMP Centres in 13 districts as ordered in the G.O. first read above, subject to the following terms and conditions :

1. The LPG Gas Stoves (preferably ISI Mark Stove) (with 2 Big burners) and other materials should be supplied to the School Centres mentioned in the supply order within 30 days from the date of receipt of the order.

2. The rates approved is inclusive of all taxes, levies, duties, transporting charges, Loading and unloading charges, etc.

3. The rate approved is final and it will not be revised. If there is any increase, that should be borne by the supplier only.

4. The supplier shall be responsible for any damage, shortage or loss of stove and other materials, during transit till the handing over in good condition in the School Centres to be mentioned in the supply order.

5. No advance payment will be made for the Gas Stove/Materials.

6. The Gas Stoves Materials, which are supplied in damaged condition will have to be replaced by the supplier at his own cost within 7 days from the date of receipt of the intimation from the intending authority (District Collector).

7. If the supply is not effected within the stipulated time as mentioned in the supply order the supply order will be cancelled and necessary action will be taken.

8. The intending authority (District Collector) will make the payment to the supplier after effecting supply by the supplier and on the receipt of the acknowledgement and a report from the Corporation Commissioners and Municipal Commissioner concerned.

9. The Gas stoves and other materials should be supplied as per Standards, Specifications and weights as noted in the annexure to this order. If the stoves and materials are not supplied as per standards, specifications and weights prescribed the entire supply will be rejected and the firm will be Blacklisted. The EMD will also be forfeited and payment will not be made for the supplied Gas stoves/materials.

10. The Corporation Commissioner and the Municipal Commissioners are personally held responsible for the receipt of the Gas stoves and materials as per specifications and standards. If any defective products/ substandard materials/without specification and standard materials are found at the time of inspection, or brought to notice of Collector, stringent action will be taken against the officers concerned.

11. Random checks shall be done by the competent authorities and any defects found will lead to rejection of materials supplied.

12. For the recovery of dues, if any, from the suppliers the Tamil Nadu Revenue Recovery Act will be enforced.

13. The Gas Stoves and other materials are to be delivered to the places mentioned in the supply order at the suppliers risk and cost, in such qualities or numbers at such times and in such manner as ordered by the District Collector or any one duly authorized by him from time to time.

4) The Commissioners of Corporation and the Municipal Commissioners are requested to confirm the receipt of Gas Stoves and materials as per specifications and standards as noted in the annexure to this order.

5) The Director of Social Welfare shall be instructed to oversee the implementation of the scheme and send periodical reports to Government.

Modernisation of Kitchens – Materials- Equipments that may be required

for provision of safety to Cylinder, Kitchen Rooms

1. 60" X 24" X 12" Double Burner Frame Stove (Hot Plate) made of 1 ¼ x ¼ MS L Angle.

2. Span Support for Vessel-Four side each 2 Nos. made of 1" square rod.

3. Burner is M4 Model

4. Clicon Adapter and pictail.

5. Ball valve.

6. ½" MS ERW Pipe

7. Needle Control – Brass.

Note: The materials/ equipments mentioned above are only indicative. Required materials / equipments may be purchased taking into account the overall safety. Also ISI Mark Stove and equipments may be preferred over others.
