------ ORDER: The State Commissioner for Disabled has stated that in order to integrate pre school children in the nearby normal schools, it is proposed to introduce a preparatory class in the pre-schools in four schools for the deaf at Government School for Deaf at Virudhunagar and Pudukkottai and IELC School for Deaf at Ambur and CSI School for the Deaf at Manamadurai respectively. The Government after careful consideration accord sanction for introduction of preparatory class in the pre school for deaf at Government School for the Deaf at Virudhunagar and Pudukkottai and IELC School for Deaf at Ambur and CSI School for Deaf at Manamadurai. Subject to the condition that 50 percent of the children pre school are integrated in the normal school and that the expansion of the scheme in future can not be considered until there is Integration with normal school and expansion may be taken in these schools where such Integration is higher. The Government also sanction a sum of Rs.1,80,000/- (Rupees one lakh eighty thousand only) as shown in the Annexure to this order for incurring the expenditure for the purpose stated above. The expenditure shall be debitable to the following head of account: "2235-Social Security and Welfare-02-Social Welfare-101 Welfare of Physically Handicapped - Schemes in the Nineth Five year Plan - II - State Plan- JP-Starting of hew schools and Higher Secondary Schools for the Deaf-24 Materials and Supplies" (D.P.C.No.2235-02-101-JP 2408) 67 Feeding/Dietary charges (DPC No.2235- 02 101 JP 6708) This order issues with the concurrence of Finance Department vide its U.O.No.33419/SW/2000 dt.28-4-2000.
