Order:

The Director of Social Defence has stated that in the second State Level Co-ordination Committee for the prevention of Trafficking and combating sexual exploitation of Women and Children meeting held on 13.9.2002, it was resolved that a Sub-Committee may be formed which will act as a pro-active as well as a

Supervisory-Committee on matters relating to trafficking and the Committee may consist of the following:-

The Director of Social Defence has also stated that this Committee will be supervisory Committee for District Level Advisory Committee.  Villag3e Level Watch- Dog Committee etc., and it will meet as and when necessary and take stock of the situation and also advise and guide the above mentioned Committees.  The Director of Social Defence has therefore requested the Government to issue necessary orders constituting the Sub-Committee as mentioned above.

  1. After careful consideration, the Government decided to constitute a Sub-Committee 7under the Chairmanship of Hon'ble Minister for Social Welfare with the flowing members to act as a pro-active Supervisory Committee on matters relating to  trafficking and sexual exploitation of women and children.

This Committee will be a Supervisory Committee for District Level Advisory Committee and Village Level watch- dog Committee etc.,

  1. The term of the above Sub-Committee will be three years and it shall meet as and when necessary and take stock of the situation and also advise and guide the district Level Advisory Committee, Village Level watch-Dog Committee etc.,

  2. The Director of Social Defence shall be the convenor of the meeting.

  3. The above committee will be a first class committee and non-official membe5rs will be eligible for traveling Allowance and Daily Allowance as per the orders issued in G.O.Ms.No.896, finance Department dated 23.10.1987.

  4. This Order issues with the concurrence of Finance Department vide its U.O. No. 22/SW/03 dated 29.1.2003
