ORDER:

In the G.O. read above, the Government have sanctioned implementation of New Anna Marumalarchi Thittam in each of the 385 Blocks with a minimum capital investment of Rupees One Crore and more to generate rural development. The Government have also ordered that the Tamil Nadu Industrial Investment Corporation will be the principal financing agency and nationalised banks and Co-operative Banks will also take part in this scheme as feasible.

2. For speedy implementation of this scheme a meeting was held on 11.8.2003 under the Chairmanship of Development Commissioner and Secretary to Government, Finance Department. At this meeting it was decided to include National Small Industries Corporation as one of the authorised financial institutions under New Anna Marumalarchi Thittam.

3. In the course of implementation of the scheme, it is found that many promoters under New Anna Marumalarchi Thittam desire to avail loan facility with scheduled banks due to the reason that the promoters are already having transactions with these banks. Hence, the Government have decided to include non-nationalised scheduled banks also as authorised institutions for financing New Anna Marumalarchi Thittam Projects.

4. In view of the decisions in para 2 and 3, the Government direct that the National Small Industries Corporation and non-nationalised scheduled banks also be included as authorised financial institutions under New Anna Marumalarchi Thittam.
