ORDER:

The Industries Commissioner and Director of Industries and Commerce has stated that the Data Bank and Information Centre for Electrical and Electronic industries was established to provide technical information on manufacturing processes, component required and its equivalent. The Data Bank has been equipped with a technical Library with 1400 Number of technical books, 100 Numbers of Journals both Foreign and Indian. The technical data are gathered and compiled for the benefit of the budding entrepreneur, engineering students and other entrepreneurs who regularly visit this technical Library for reference. They require the copy of the reference for which the photocopier machine is essentially required. In the circumstances, the Industries Commissioner and Director of Industries and Commerce has proposed to provide one photocopier machine with stabilizer at an estimated cost of Rs.0.90 lakh to Data Bank and Information Centre for Electrical & Electronic industries at Thiruvanmiyur, Chennai-41. To provide above facility to the centre, the Industries Commissioner and Director of Industries and Commerce has requested that a sum of Rs.0.80 Lakh may be sanctioned as a non-recurring expenditure and Rs.0.10 lakh may be sanctioned as recurring expenditure for the year 2005-06.

2. The Government have examined the proposal of the Industries Commissioner and Director of Industries and Commerce and decided to accept it as Part II scheme for the year 2005-06. Accordingly, sanction is accorded for incurring a non recurring expenditure of Rs.80,000/- (Rupees eighty thousand only) and recurring expenditure of Rs.10,000 (Rupees ten thousand only) for providing one photocopier machine with stabilizer at a total cost of Rs.90,000 (Rupees ninety thousand only) to Data Bank and Information Centre for Electrical and Electronics Industries at Thiruvanmiyur, Chennai-41.

3. The expenditure sanctioned in para 3 above shall be debited to the head of account:-

4. The Industries Commissioner and Director of Industries and Commerce is authorised to draw and disburse the amount sanctioned in para 3 above.

5. This order issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department vide its U.O.No.28881/Ind/05-1, dt.26.04.2005.
