Small Industries - Part II Scheme for 2003-04 - Construction of Laboratory Building at Institute of Ceramic Technology, Vridhachalam - Expenditure of Rs 12.50 lakhs - Sanctioned. SMALL INDUSTRIES(DEV.1)DEPARTMENT G.O.Ms.No. 32 READ : From the Director of Industries and Commerce Letter Rc.No.52327/PDB1/02 dated 20.12.2002. --- ORDER: The Director of Industries and Commerce in his letter read above has sent proposals to construct Laboratory Building at Institute of Ceramic Technology, Vridhachalam, at an estimated cost of Rs 12.50 lakhs under Part II Scheme for 2003-04 . The Director of Industries and Commerce has stated that the syllabus for the training course has been revised by AICTE introducing semester pattern and additional subjects viz. Physics practical, English communication practical subjects. The existing laboratory built in 1964 is not having sufficient space to establish new additional Laboratories for the new subjects. Hence he has proposed to construct a building with an extent of 2500 Sq.ft. to satisfy norms of AICTE. 2. The Government have examined the proposal and accept the same. Sanction is therefore accorded for incurring an expenditure not exceeding Rs. 12.50 lakhs (Rupees twelve lakhs and fifty thousands only) for construction of Laboratory building at Institute of Ceramic Technology, Vridhachalam during 2003-04. 3. The expenditure sanctioned in para 2 above shall be debited to 4851-00- Capital Outlay on Village & Small Industries-102. Small Scale Industries - Schemes in the 10th Five Year Plan . II. State Plan-KW. Construction of Laboratory Building at Institute of Ceramic Technology Virudhachalam.16 Major works. (DPC 4851.00.102.KW.1600). 4.
