744 Read: 1. From the Collector, Thiruvallur District Lr.No.30955/2006 / U2, dated 25.10.2006. 2. Minutes of the State Level Committee on Calamity Relief Fund Schemes meeting dated 26.10.2006. --- ORDER: The Collector of Tiruvallur District has reported that a fire accident took place in Ottikuppam Pudu Nagar and Tiruchankulam village, Ambuttur Taluk on 10.10.2006 where 87 tsunami shelters were gutted and the affected families were than settled in temporary shelters. He has requested to sanction Rs.10,000/- per shelter for reconstruction or a monthly rent of Rs.500/- per house to be paid for one year. 2. The Principal Commissioner and Commissioner of Revenue Administration has recommended the proposal of the Collector of Thiruvallur District to sanction Rs.500/- per month as rent for 87 families for one year for placing before the State Level Committee on Calamity Relief Fund Schemes for consideration. 3. The State Level Committee on Calamity Relief Fund Schemes in its meeting held on 26.10.06 has approved the said proposal for sanction of Rs.5,22,000/- (at the rate of Rs.500/- per shelter for 12 months as rent for the 87 shelters). 4. The Government accept the decision of the State Level Committee on Calamity Relief Fund Schemes and accordingly sanction Rs.5,22,000/- ( Rupees Five lakhs twenty two thousand only) towards payment of rent for a period of 12 months for the 87 shelters gutted in fire on 10.10.2006. 5. The expenditure sanctioned in paragraph 4 above shall be debited to the following head of account " 2245 Relief an account of Natural Calamities 80 - General - 800 - Other expenditure I Non Plan - AB - Assistance for undertaking relief works in Tsunami affected areas - 09 - Grants in Aid - 01 Grants for current expenditure (DPC - 2245 - 80 - 800 - AB - 0918) ". 6. Necessary funds will be provided in RE/FMA 2006-07. Pending provision of funds, the Special Commissioner and Commissioner of Revenue Administration is hereby authorized to draw and disburse the amount sanctioned in paragraph 5 above as per the existing procedure to the Collector of Tiruvallur and he is requested to send the Utilization Certificate to the Accountant General/Government. 7. The Special Commissioner and Commissioner of Revenue Administration is also requested to include the above expenditure which sending RE/FMA proposal for 2006-07 to Government without fail. 8. This order issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department vide its U.O. No.71597 / Fin(Rev) / 06-1, dated 15.11.06 and ASC No.940 (Nine hundred and forty). (By Order of the Governor) S.
