From the Special Commissioner of Fisheries, Lr.Rc.No.3300/T1/2006, dated 21.6.06. ---- ORDER: The following amendment is issued to G.O.Ms.No.295, Revenue, dated 24.4.2006:- Amendment (1) For the existing paragraph 7, the following paragraph shall be substituted;-- "7. The Government after careful consideration, accept the decision of the Empowered Committee and accord sanction for appointment of (1) Dr. B. Nagendra Kumar, Coastal Engineering Consultant from 19.1.06 and entrusting the work on a total consultancy package for a period of one year at Rs.12 lakhs plus service tax as applicable with specific output linked to the payment. The Government also direct that the consultancy fees be paid on a monthly basis. The Government also accord sanction for appointment of Thiru L.N.S. Subramanian, Superintending Engineering Consultant on monthly honorarium equivalent to the last pay drawn minus the pension plus service tax for a period of one year from 1.3.2006." (2) The following paragraphs shall be added as paragraphs 8 and 9,-- 8. The Government also ratify the action of the Director of Fisheries in having appointed the above Specialists in anticipation of the approval of the Government. 9. In case of travel outside Chennai the Consultants will be paid Travelling Allowance at the rate applicable to Grade "A" Officers of Tamil Nadu Government. (3) The existing paragraphs 8, 9 and 10 shall be renumbered as paragraphs 10, 11 and 12.
