ABSTRACT Tsunami - Relief and Rehabilitation - World Bank aided Emergency Tsunami Reconstruction Project (ETRP) and Asian Development Bank assisted Tsunami Emergency Assistance Project (TEAP) – Formation of office to accommodate Project Management Unit - Renovation of Fifth Floor Ezhilagam Annex Building for the use of Project Management Unit - Rs.84.80 lakhs - Amount - Sanctioned - Orders - Issued. Ms. No.723, Revenue Department, dated 26.12.05. 3) From the OSD(R&R) and Project Director (ETRP and TEAP), Chennai-5, Letter No.TAC/108582/05, dated 20.7.2006. ***** ORDER: In the G.O. first read above, the Government have accorded sanction among other things for a sum of Rs. 85.30 lakhs towards the cost of renovation and formation of office in the Ezhilagam Annex V Floor for the Project Management Unit 2. In the G.O. second read above, the Government have also issued necessary amendment to the head of account. 3. Now, the Officer on Special Duty (Relief and Rehabilitation) has stated that out of Rs.85.30 lakhs sanctioned, he has utilised Rs.50,000/- during 2005-06 and surrendered the balance amount. He has, therefore, requested to release the balance amount of Rs.84.80 lakh. 4. The Government accept the recommendation of the Officer on Special Duty (Relief and Rehabilitation) and sanction a sum of Rs.84.80 lakh (Rupees Eighty four lakh and eighty thousand only) being the balance amount for renovation and formation of office in the Ezhilagam Annex Fifth Floor for the Project Management Unit. 5. The Expenditure sanctioned in paragraph 4 above shall be debited to the following head of account:- " 2070. Other Administrative Services - 800. Other expenditure - Schemes in the Tenth five year plan - II. State Plan - QA. World Bank assisted schemes under Emergency Tsunami Reconstruction Project (ETRP) - Project Management Unit - 18 Maintenance 1 periodical maintenance." (DPC 2070 00 800 QA 18 12) 6. Necessary funds will be provided in RE/FMA 2006-07. Pending provision of funds in the RE/FMA 2006-07, the SC&CRA is authroised to draw and disburse the amount sanctioned in para 4 above to the Chief Engineer (Buildings), Public Works Department, as per the existing procedure and send Utilisation Certificate and Progress Reports as laid down by World Bank. 7. The Special Commissioner and Commissioner of Revenue Administration is requested to send necessary proposal to Government in Finance Department to include the expenditure in RE/FMA 2006-07 without fail. 8. The other conditions prescribed for execution of the works in the G.O. first read above be followed scrupulously. 9.
