ORDER:

In the G.O. first read above, Government have sanctioned a sum of Rs.3660.87 lakhs for the execution of works under capital expenditure and released a sum of Rs.4 crores under Infra-structure Development works.

2.  The Commissioner of Municipal Administration has now reported that the sum of Rs.4 crores already released has been disbursed to the six tsunami affected municipalities and the works are in various stages of execution.  As the balance of Rs.3260.87 lakhs (Rs.3660.87 - 400.00 lakhs) is required for the completion of the works during this financial year, the Commissioner of Municipal Administration has requested the Government to release the balance amount of Rs.3260.87 lakhs available in the RBE 2006-07.

3.  The Government, after careful consideration, accept the proposal of the Commissioner of Municipal Administration and sanction a sum of Rs.3260.87 lakhs (Rupees Thirty two crores sixty lakhs and eighty seven thousand only) being the balance of Rs.3660.87 lakhs sanctioned in the G.O. first read above for the execution and completion of balance works.

4.  The expenditure sanctioned in the paragraph 3 above shall be debited to the following heads of account:-

a)  Water Supply

"4215.  CAPITAL OUTLAY ON WATER SUPPLY AND SANITATION - 01. Water Supply - 101. Urban Water Supply Schemes in the Tenth Five Year Plan - II. State Plan - RB. Works under Tsunami Emergency Assistance Project (TEAP) with assistance from Asian Development Bank  - Municipal Administration - TWAD Board - 16.  Major works."

b)  Sanitation

"4215. CAPITAL OUTLAY ON WATER SUPPLY AND SANITATION - 02. Sewerage and Sanitation - 101.  Urban Sanitation Services Schemes in the Tenth Five Year Plan - II. State Plan - RA. Works under Tsunami Emergency Assistance Project (TEAP) with assistance from Asian Development Bank  - Municipal Administration - 16. Major works."

5.  The Commissioner of Municipal Administration is authorised to draw and disburse the amount sanctioned in paragraph 3 above as per the existing procedure and send the Statement of Expenditure, Utilisation Certificate, the Progress Reports as laid down by the Asian Development Bank in consultation with the Project Director (ETRP & TEAP).

6.  This order is issued with the concurrence of Finance Department vide its U.O.No.2540 / MAWS / 07,dated 20.01.2007.
