ORDER :

During the year 2006-07, a sum of Rs.1,22,476.22 lakhs has been allocated in the Budget Estimate as State Finance Commission Grant. Out of this, the devolution grant (87%) comes to Rs.1,06,554.31 lakhs and the balance 13% comes to Rs.15,921.91 lakhs. Out of Rs.15921.91 towards Reserve, Equalisation and Incentive fund, Rs.90.00 crores has already been released to AGAMT. The balance amount available is Rs.6921.91 lakhs. Now, the Government have decided to sanction the above amount as detailed below:-

I. RESERVE FUND (Rs. in lakhs)

a) Collector's Development Fund 1141.52

c) IEC Fund to AGAMT 508.00

II. EQUALISATION FUND

(i) Village Panchayats     1165.53

(ii) Panchayat Unions     3306.86

Total      6921.91

2. In the G.O. 7^th read above sanction has been accorded for sanction of the following amount:-

I. RESERVE FUND (Rs. in lakhs)

a) Collector's Development Fund 1141.52

II. EQUALISATION FUND

(i) Village Panchayats 1165.53

(ii) Panchayat Unions 3306.86

Total   6413.91

3. Now sanction is accorded for release of balance amount of Rs.508.00 lakhs (Rupees Five hundred and eight lakhs only) for Information, Education and Communication campaign under AGAMT from the balance funds available under Rain Water Harvesting and Collectors Development Fund under Reserve fund of State Finance Commission.

4. The amount sanctioned in para 3 above shall be debited to the following head of account:-

" 3604-00-Compensation and assignments to Local Bodies and Panchayat Raj Institutions 198-Assistance to Gram Panchayats - I. Non Plan-AA-Grants to Village Panchayats as per the recommendations of State Finance Commission-Controlled by the Director of Rural Development-09 Grants-in-aid 02. Grants for Capital Expenditure " (DPC 3604-00-198-AA-0927)

5. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance Department vide its U.O.No.18032/R.D/2007-1, dated 27.3.2007.
