66 ORDER: The Standing Finance Committee has approved the proposal for the construction of Office Building for Project Officer, District Rural Development Agencies of Thiruvannamalai and Dindigul at an ultimate cost of Rs. 70 lakhs under Part II Scheme for the year 2005-2006 and the cost has been limited to Rs. 28 lakhs during the year 2005-2006.
2. Sanction is hereby accorded for Office Building for Project Officer Distict Rural Development Agency as mentioned in para 1 above at a total cost not exceeding Rs.28.00 lakhs ( Rupees Twenty Eight lakhs only) during the year 2005-2006, by adopting the low cost technology and using local materials. 3. Necessary funds will be provided in Revised Estimate / Final Modified Appropriation 2005-2006. Pending provision of funds in Revised Estimate/Final Modified Appropriation 2005-2006 the Pay and Accounts Officer is requested to admit the bill if otherwise found in order. The Director of Rural Development is instructed to include this expenditure while sending the Revised Estimate/Final Modified Appropriation proposal to Government for 2005-2006. 4. The expenditure sanctioned in para 2 above shall be debited to the following new Sub head of account opened under Demand No. 40, Rural Development Department :- "4515-00-Capital outlay on other Rural Development Programmes 103 Rural Development - Schemes in the Tenth Five Yeasr Plan - II State Plan - JB. Construction of Official quarters with camp office to Project Offier / Additional Collector/ District Rural Development Agency - Executed by the Department of Rural Development- 16. Major works" (DPC 4515 - 00 - 103- JB 1608) 5. The Director of Rural Development is the estimating reconciling and controlling authority for the above new head of account . The Pay and Accounts Officer/ Treasury Officer concerned open the above new head of account in their accounts. 6. The Director of Rural Development is permitted to execute the above said work on the basis of duly approved estimates / plan and the Director of Rural Development is authorised to draw the above amount and disburse the same. The Chief Engineer (buildings) , Public Works Department is directed to surrender the funds provided under the head of head of account " 4515-00-102-JA-16 Major Works in D.No. 53 to the Government while sending Revised Estimate/ Final Modified Appropriation for the year 2005-2006. 7. A report of completion of the Building works and Utilisation of the amount shall be submitted to Government within the prescribed time. The Utilisation Certificate shall be furnished to the Accountant General under intimation to Government. Unspent/ Savings if any be refunded to the Government account before the end of the financial year. 8. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance Department vide its U.O.No. 30723/Rural Development/05 dated 11.5.2005. By Order of the Governor Santha
