ORDER:

The Standing Finance Committee has approved the proposal for the construction of Official Quarters with camp office to Project Officer A/C(Dev) District Rural Development Agencies of Thiruvannamalai and Dindigul at an ultimate cost of Rs. 48 lakhs under Part II Scheme for the year 2005-2006 and the cost has been limited to Rs. 19.20 lakhs during the year 2005-2006.

2. Sanction is hereby accorded for construction of Official Quarters with camp office to Project Officer A/C (Dev) Distict Rural Development Agency as mentioned in para 1 above at a cost not exceeding Rs.19.20 lakhs ( Rupees Nineteen lakhs and twenty thousand only) during the year 2005-2006, by adopting low cost technology using local materials.

3. Necessary funds will be provided in Revised Estimate / Final Modified Appropriation 2005-2006. Pending provision of funds in Revised Estimate/Final Modified Appropriation 2005-2006 the Pay and Accounts Officer (South) is requested to admit the bill if otherwise found in order. The Director of Rural Development shall to include this expenditure while sending the Revised Estimate/Final Modified Appropriation proposal for the year 2005-2006 to Government.

4. The expenditure sanctioned in para 2 above shall be debited to the following head of account :-

"4515-00-Capital outlay on other Rural Development Programmes 103 Rural Development - Schemes in the Tenth Five Yeasr Plan - II State Plan - JB. Construction of Official quarters with camp office to Project Offier / Additional Collector/ District Rural Development Agency - Executed by the Department of Rural Development- 16. Major works" (DPC 4515 - 00 - 103- JB 1608)

5. The Director of Rural Development is permitted to execute the above said work and he is authorised to draw the above amount and disburse the same. The Chief Engineer (buildings) , Public Works Department is directed to surrender the funds allocated in the respective head of account to Government while sending Revised Estimate/ Final Modified Appropriation proposal for the year 2005-2006 ( i.e., under 4515-00-102-JA) .

6. A report of completion of the Building works and Utilisation of the amount shall be submitted to Government within the prescribed time. The Utilisation Certificate shall be furnished to the Accountant General under intimation to Government. Unspent/ Savings if any be refunded to the Government account before the end of the financial year.
