Abstract Public Works Department – Buildings – Part II Scheme for the year 2007-2008 – Construction of “C” Type quarters 12 Nos Two blocks for Government Employees at Todhunter Nagar, Saidapet, Chennai 15- Detailed Estimate – Administrative Approval - Orders – Issued Public Works (Y2) Department G.O.Ms.No.197 ORDER: The Standing Finance Committee has approved the Part II Scheme proposals for the year 2007-2008 sent by the Chief Engineer (Building) for Construction of “C” Type quarters (12 Nos) Two blocks for Government Employees at Todhunter Nagar, Saidapet, Chennai 15 at an estimated cost of Rs.65 lakhs (Rupees Sixty five lakhs only). 2. The Government accordingly sanction a sum of Rs.65.00 lakhs (Rupees Sixty five lakhs only) for the construction of “C” Type quarters (12 Nos) Two blocks for Government Employees at Todhunter Nagar, Saidapet, Chennai 15. The Government also direct that the expenditure for 2007-2008 shall be restricted to Rs.52.00 lakhs (Rupees fifty two lakhs only) for the above works. 3, The expenditure sanctioned in para 2 above shall be debited to the following head of account. 4059 Capital outlay on Public Works – 01 Office Buildings – 051 Construction – Schemes in the Eleventh Five Year Plan – II State Plan – JJ Public Works – 16 Major Woks (DPC 4059 -01 – 051- JJ 1603). 4. The Chief Engineer (Buildings) Public Works Department is authorised to execute the work and to incur the expenditure sanctioned in para 2 above. 5. The plans and estimates sent by the Chief Engineer (Building) are also approved. He is also requested to send a periodical report on the progress of the work every month to the Government. A copy of the plan and estimates is returned herewith. 6. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance Dept vide its U.O.No.40160/PW.I/2007 dt.20.6.2007. (By Order of the Governor) S.
