From the Engineer in Chief and Chief Engineer (General) Letter No. S7(4) /54222/T.cell/2007-5, dated 7.5.07. ---- ORDER: The Chief Engineer (Plan Formulation), Water Resources Organisation, Public Works Department, sent pproposals in the reference first cited for the construction of dividing dam across Gridhamal River to feed Ambalathadi, Mangudi etc tanks in Manamadurai Taluk of Sivaganga District at an estimated cost of Rs. 41.27 lakhs under Part II Scheme for the year 2007 2008. 2. By implementing the scheme an extent of 247.40 acress and 283.31 acres will be stabilized. No land acquisition is involved in this scheme. 3. The standing Finance committee has approved the above construction of dividing dam across Gridhamal River under Part II Scheme 2007 2008. 4. Accordingly Administrative Sanction is accorded for a sum of Rs 41.27 lakhs (Rupees forty one lakhs and twenty seven thousand only) towards the construction of dividing dam across Gridhamal River to feed Ambalathadi, Mangudi etc tanks in Manamadurai Taluk of Sivaganga District under Part II Scheme for the year 2007 2008.The expenditure towards the above scheme is restricted to Rs. 17.00 lakhs (Rupees seventeen lakhs only) during the year 2007 2008. 5. The expenditure shall be debited to " 4702 00-capital outlay an Minor irrigation 101- surface water scheme in the XI th Five year Plan II State Plan JA Special Minor irrigation programme 16 Major works (DPC No. 4702-00-101-JA-1607). 6. The Chief Engineer, Water Resources Organisation, Public Works Department, Madurai Region is requested to take up the work immediately and complete it within the time limit. He is also requested to send a report on the progress of the work every month to the Government. 7. This order issues with the concurrence of fiancι Department vide its U.O No. 32081/ PW II / 07, dated 30.5.07. ( By order of the Governor) S.
