(Ms) No.142 Read: From the Chief Engineer (Buildings), Public Works Department, Chennai-5 Letter No.AEE / T12 / 52640 / 2005 dated 9.1.2007 & 8.2.2007. --- ORDER: The Standing Finance Committee has approved the proposal sent by the Chief Engineer (Buildings) for the purchase of 12 Nos of New Vehicles (Jeeps) on replacement basis for use of the Public Works Department Divisions (Buildings Organisation) at an estimated cost of Rs.51.00 lakhs (Rupees Fifty one lakhs only) under Part II Schemes for the year 2007-2008. 2. The Government accordingly sanction a sum of Rs.51.00 lakhs (Rupees Fifty one lakhs only) for the purchase of 12 Nos of New Vehicles (Jeeps) on replacement basis for use of Public Works Department Divisions (Buildings Organisation) under part II Scheme for the year 2007-2008. 3. The expenditure sanctioned in para 2 above shall be debitable to the following head of account:- "2059 – Public works – 80 – General – 001 – Direction and Administration – I Non – Plan-AA – Chief Engineer – 21 – Motor Vehicles – 01 Purchase – (D.P.Code – 2059–80 -001- AA-2114)". 4. The Chief Engineer (Buildings), Public Works Department is authorized to incur the expenditure as per the existing procedure. 5.
