Irrigation - Formation of new tanks and supply channel project with the loan assistance from National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development under Rural Infrastructure Development Fund IX - Administrative approval for ten schemes at an estimated cost of Rs.1071.18 lakhs - Sanction - Accorded

The Chief Engineer, (Plan Formulation), Water Resources Organisation, Public Works Department in his letter read above has reported that the project sanctioning Committee of National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development in its meeting held during September 2003 has approved the following Ten schemes for loan assistance under Rural Infrastructure Development Fund IX and has submitted proposal seeking administrative sanction of the Government.

2. From the outlay of Rs.1071.18 lakhs for implementation of the Ten schemes mentioned in para 1 above, National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development in its letters read above has sanctioned a sum of Rs.1017.62 lakhs as loan assistance with their terms and conditions. The amount to be contributed by the State Government is Rs.53.56 lakhs. Additional expenditure, if any have to be borne by the State Government. The period of completion of the above project is prescribed as 31^st March 2006.

The Government accept the proposal of the Chief Engineer, Plan Formulation and accord administrative sanction for the above said ten projects as mentioned in para 1 above at an estimated cost of Rs.1071.18 lakhs (Rupees Ten crores seventy one lakhs and eighteen thousand only) of which Rs.1017.62 (Rupees Ten crores seventeen lakhs and sixty two thousand only) is National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development loan component.

6. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance Department vide its U.O.No. 22/SS(LK)/2004 dated 23.01.2004.
