ORDER:

At the annual meeting of the Tamil Nadu Civil Services Joint Council held on 30.12.75, it was resolved to give additional representation to the official side as well as the staff-side of the Council.  The draft amendments moved for the purpose were approved by the Council.  The following amendments are accordingly issued to the constitution of the Tamil Nadu Civil Services Joint Council, appended to G.O.Ms.No.1118, Public (Services.A), dated 2.4.57.

                                                                   AMENDMENTS

1. 1.      Rule 1 : For the figures ‘20’ the figures ‘22’ shall be substituted.

 2.      Rule 2 : The following shall be inserted as sub rule (41) and the existing
                      Sub rules (ii) to (x) shall be re-numbered as sub-rules (iii) to (xi):-

1. 3.      Rule 3 : (a) For the word ‘Ten’ the word ‘eleven’ shall be substituted. 

                  (b The following expression shall be substituted in the place of the 
                      last sentence occurring below entry No.(3) viz. The number of
                      members to be appointed by the President of the Tamil Nadu
                      Last Grade Government Servants’ Association shall be two and
                      the number of members to be appointed by the President
                      Tamil Nadu Secretariat Association shall be one’ .

1. 4.      Rule 8:  “For the word ‘seven’ occurring in the penultimate sentence in the
                         said Rules, the word “eight” shall be substituted.
