ORDER:

The Government in their order first read above had introduced the Essential course in the Foundational Training for certain officers belonging to A&B categories in the State Services. Among the subjects, Public Administration is prescribed as one of the syllabus in Annexure I & II for A&B Course officers respectively.

2. The Director & Director General of Training, Anna Institute of Management, after conducting the review of the existing syllabus with the faculty members of Anna Institute of Management and Principal, Civil Service Training Institute, Bhavanisagar has suggested that the following topics may be supplemented to the existing syllabus in the Foundational Courses for A&B Officers and Deputy Tahsildars in Service Training Course.

1. Right to information Act- Citizens Charter

2. Prevention of Atrocities on Schedule Castes and Schedule Tribes Act

3. Human Rights Act

4 .Prevention of Bonded Labour Act ,1976

5. Prohibition of Child Labour Act ,1986

6. Empowerment of Women-Acts relating to Woman

7. Environment-Pollution Control

8. Social problems in India and their solutions

3. The Government after careful examination of the suggestions of the Director and Director General of Training Anna Institute of Management accept the proposal . and order that the topics referred to at para 2 above are incorporated in annexure -I & II as in Sl.No.1 & 3 respectively in the said G.O. for A&B course officers.

4. In respect of , In service training for Deputy Tahsildars necessary orders will be issued by the Revenue Department separately.

5. This order does not require the concurrence of Finance Department .
