I am directed to state that the following amendment is issued to G.O.Ms.No.15, Personnel and Administrative Reforms (Per.S) Department, dated 12.1.94.
AMENDMENT
In the said Government Order for paragraph 4 (4)(iv), the following shall be substituted :-
In case of difference of opinion, the majority view shall prevail. In any particular case where the member of the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission who is the Chairman of the Departmental Promotion Committee requires that the Commission should be consulted, such consultation shall be made. The decision of the Commission, in such cases, shall be communicated direct to the Government by the Secretary to the Commission.
