ORDER:-

In the G.O. second read above, orders were issued for conducting a Special Qualifying Examination by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission for the regularisation of the services of the Temporary Junior Assistants, Typists and Steno-Typist who were recruited through Employment Exchanges since 1986 and subsequently ousted from service and those who were appointed on or before 15.5.1991 and continue to be still in service irrespective of the length of service put in by them.

2. The General Secretary, Tamil Nadu Temporary Junior Assistants, Typists and Steno-typists Association has represented to the Government to regularly appoint the Temporary Junior Assistants, Typists and Steno-typists who were recruited through the employment Exchanges between 15.11.80 and 24.6.84 and who had rendered service of less than one year in Government Service through a Special Qualifying Examination by the \Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission.

3.The Government have carefully examined the request of the Temporary Junior Assistants, Typists and Steno-typists Association referred to in para 2 above and have decided to permit the Temporary Junior Assistants, Typists and Steno-typists who were recruited through the Employment Exchanges between 15.11.80 and 24.6.84 and who had rendered less than one year of service and who are educationally and technically qualified for the respective posts, to appear for the Special Qualifying Examination to be conducted by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission with reference to the orders issued in the G.O.second read above.

The Government accordingly direct that all the Temporary Junior Assistants, Typists and Steno-typists who were recruited through the Employment /Exchanges in the Tamil Nadu Ministerial Service and the Tamil Nadu Judicial Ministerial Service and Typists and Steno-typists in the Tamil Nadu Secretariat Service between 15.11.80 and 24.6.84 and who had rendered less than one year of service shall also be permitted to appear for the Special Qualifying Examination to be conducted by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission with refernece to the Government Order second read above.

5. The orders in para 3 (ii) to 3(x) of the Government order second read above shall apply mutatis mutandis to the candidates mentioned in para 4 above.
