                         Sub: Public Services – Appointment of dependents Of deceased Government servants – Creation
                                Of Supernumerary posts – Ad-hoc Allocation of  supernumerary posts to
                                Various departments- Regarding.

 I am directed to invite attention to the Government Letter second and third cited where in  adhoc allotments of the 500 Supernumerary posts sanctioned in the Government order 1st cited have been made to each of the Departments in Secretariat, for distribution in a judicious manner to all the offices under their administrative control, so as to provide immediate employment opportunities to the dependents of deceased Government servants, waiting for such appointment. In the Letter 2nd  cited, it was also requested to surrender the unutilized posts to this Department, so as to re-allot the surrendered posts to other needy departments. Accordingly, the S.W and N.M.P. Department in the Government letter second letter 3 rd cited, unutilized.

2. Now, some of the Departments of Secretariat have requested for further allocation of some more supernumerary posts, so as to comply with the pending requests for appointment on compassionate grounds. After a careful examination, it has been decided to re-allocate the following number of supernumerary posts to the Departments mentioned below, out of the posts surrendered by the S.W. and N.M.P. Department.

3. The concerned Departments of Secretariat are requested to distribute the above allotted posts in a judicious manner among the Offices under the administrative control for utilization. I am also directed to request you to follow the instructions contained in the G.O. 1st cited scrupulously.

 

4. I am further to add that if any Department has not utilized the allotted supernumerary posts, they may be requested to surrender the unutilized posts, along with such of the supernumerary posts which have fallen vacant, due to the moving of the incumbents to regular vacancies, so as to re-allot the surrendered posts to other needy Departments.

 

5. The receipt of this letter may kindly be acknowledged. A report indicating mode of utilization of the allotted posts may be sent to this Department.
