ORDER;
According to Rule 7 of constitution of Joint Civil Services District Council, framed in G.O.Ms.No.2386, Public (Services-A) dated 9.12.1968, the ordinary meetings of the District Council should be held as often as necessary and act less than once in six months in a calendar year and as for as possible in July and December. In pursuance of the recommendation of the Tamil Nadu Civil Services Joint Council, the Government issued instructions in Government Memo No.58865A/K1/78-1, Personnel and Administrative Reforms(Personnel-K) dated 7.8.1978 to the Collectors to convene the meetings of the Joint Civil Services District Council periodically once in a quarter instead of once in six months.
2. The following amendment is, therefore issued to rule 7 of the constitution of Joint Civil Services District Council framed in G.O.Ms.No.2386, Public(Services-A) dated 9.12.1968.
Amendment
For the first two sentence in rule 7, the following sentences shall be substituted:
“The ordinary meetings of the Council shall be held as often and necessary and not less than once in a quarter. The meeting held in the last quarter of the calendar year shall be the Annual Meetings”.
