ORDER:

            In his letters third read above, the Commissioner of Municipal Administration has stated that a provision has been made in Budget 2006-07 under the Head CMDP – Capital Grants to Chennai Metropolitan Development Plan CMA for sewage facilities in Chennai Region for 2006-07 under Annual Plan and requested the Government to release the amount to the following Municipalities as detailed below:

2. The Government accept the proposal of the Commissioner of Municipal Administration and hereby order release of Rs.300.00 Lakhs to the following Municipalities for provision of sewerage facilities, as indicated below:

3. The expenditure sanctioned in para 2 above shall be debited to the following head of account:-

“4215 – Capital outlay on Water and Supply and Sanitation – 02 Sewerage and Sanitation – 101 Urban sanitation services – Schemes in the Tenth Five Year Plan - II State Plan – JD Chennai Metropolitan Development Plan – Capital grants to plan – JD Chennai Metropolitan Development Plan – Capital Grants to Commissioner of Municipal Administration for Sewerage facilities in Chennai Region – 22. Investments.” (DPC No.4215-02-101-JD2206)

4. The Commissioner of Municipal Administration is authorized to draw the amount released in para 2 above and disburse to the Municipalities concerned.

5.  This order issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department vide its U.O. No.4915A/MAWS/07, Dated: 1.2.2007.
