NO.370 READ: 1. From the Ministry of Urban Employment and Poverty Alleviation, Government of India, Letter G-24011/3/ 2006-UPA1, dated 8.5.2006. 2. From the Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation, Government of India, Letter No.G-24011 / 3 / 2006-UPA-I, dated 9.8.2006. 3. From the Commissioner of Municipal Administration, Letter Roc.No.28474 / 2006 / UPA-2, dated 18.8.2006 -------- ORDER: In the reference first read above the Government of India have tentatively allocated a sum of Rs.1591.51 lakhs for Swarna Jayanthi Shahari Rozgar Yojana Schemes for the year 2006-2007 as a whole, without segregating into the three components viz., Urban Self Employment Programme, Urban Wage Employment Programme and Community Structure, thereby giving flexibility to the States / Union Territories to utilize the funds under any component or sub-component. In the reference second read above the Government of India have released a sum of Rs.795.76 lakhs towards 50% of the total tentative allocation as first instalment for assistance under Swarna Jayanthi Shahari Rozgar Yojana for the year 2006-2007. 2. The Commissioner of Municipal Administration in his letters third read above has requested the Government to sanction and release the corresponding State share of Rs.265.253 lakhs as a whole for implementation of Swarna Jayanthi Shahari Rozgar Yojana Scheme for the year 2006-2007. 3. The Government after careful examination, accept the proposal of the Commissioner of Municipal Administration. Accordingly, sanction is accorded for a sum of Rs.265.253 lakhs (Rupees two hundred and sixty five lakhs and twenty five thousand three hundred only) as State Share under Swarna Jayanthi Shahari Rozgar Yojana for the year 2006-2007. 4. The expenditure sanctioned in para 3 above shall be debited to the following heads of account in the ratio of 50%, 35% and 15% respectively as follows:- 3475.00 Other General Economic Services 108.Urban Oriented Employment Programme Schemes in the Tenth Five Year Plan – II State Plan – JA. The Urban Self Employment Programme (USEP) 09. Grants in Aid 03.Grants for specific schemes (DPC 3475 00 108 JA 0933) – Rs.132.63 lakhs.
3475.00 Other General Economic Services 108.Urban Oriented Employment Programme Schemes in the Tenth Five Year Plan – II State Plan – JB. The Urban Wage Employment Programme (UWEP) 09. Grants in Aid 03.Grants for specific schemes (DP 3475 00 108 JB 0931) – Rs. 92.84 lakhs.

Assistance to Community Structure Component under Swarna Jayanthi Shahari Rozgar Yojana Scheme 09. Grants in Aid 03.Grants for specific schemes (DP 3475 00 108 JC 0939) – Rs. 39.78 lakhs.
5. The Commissioner of Municipal Administration is authorised to draw and disburse the amount sanctioned in para 3 above to the Urban Local Bodies. 6.
