ORDER:

In the Government Order first read above, the Government have sanctioned a sum of Rs.3.00 lakhs for purchase of furniture and fittings for the then Tamil Nadu Dr.Ambedkar Law University Law College at Chengalpattu under Part II Schemes for the year 2006-2007 and the Director of Legal Studies was authorised to draw and disburse the said amount to the Registrar, Tamil Nadu Dr.Ambedkar Law University by way of cheque.

2. In the Government Order second read above, the Government have issued orders declaring the Tamil Nadu Dr.Ambedkar Law University Law College at Chengalpattu as a Government Law College.

3. Consequent to the above, the Director of Legal Studies in his letter third read above has requested the Government to authorize him to draw and utilize the amount of Rs.3.00 lakhs sanctioned in the G.O. first read above for the purchase of furniture and fittings for the Government Law College at Chengalpattu.

4. The Government, after careful consideration have decided to accept the request of the Director of Legal Studies.

5. Accordingly, in partial modification of the orders issued in the G.O. first read above, the Director of Legal Studies is authorised to draw and utilize the amount of Rs.3.00 lakhs (Rupees three lakhs only) sanctioned in the said G.O. for the purchase of furniture and fittings for the Government Law College at Chengalpattu.

6. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance Department – Vide its U.O. No.7/ADS/JR/07, dated 25.1.2007.
