ORDER:

In the G.O. first read above, Thiru. P. Krishnan, Advocate Hasthampatti, Salem was appointed as a Notary in Salem Town. In the G.O. second cited, his certificate of practice was last renewed for a further period of three years with effect on and from 25.11.1999. Further, the said Notary has not applied for renewal of his certificate of practice. Hence, in the Government letter third cited, a show-cause notice was issued to him to show-cause as to why his name should not be removed from the Register of Notaries.

2. In response to the above show-cause notice, Tmt. Kausalya Krishnan, W/o Thiru P. Krishnan, in her letter fourth cited has stated that her husband, Thiru P. Krishnan, Advocate and Notary expired on 24.3.2001 because of Cardiac Arrest and has enclosed the Xerox copy of the Death Certificate issued by the Salem Corporation.

3. In as much as the wife of the deceased notary has informed that her husband, Thiru P. Krishnan, Advocate and Notary, Salem expired on 24.3.2001, the name of the said Notary is hereby removed from the Register of Notaries maintained by the Government under section 4 of the Notaries Act, 1952.

4. The following Notification will be published in the next issue of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette:-

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by the Notaries Act, 1952 (Central Act LIII of 1952), the Governor of Tamil Nadu, hereby removes the name of Thiru. P. Krishnan, Advocate & Notary, Salem from the Register of Notaries maintained by the Government under section 4 of the said Act.
