177 Read : From the Director of Medical and Rural Health Services(ESI),Chennai letter No. 9711 / ESI / P1 / 2005 DATED 19.4.2006. ORDER: The Government after due process sanction the implementation of ESI Scheme to Tuticorin Peripheral areas by attaching 969 workers therein with the existing ESI dispensary, Attur. 2. Sanction is also accorded for incurring a recurring expenditure of Rs.1,93,800/- (Rupees one Lakh Ninety three Thousand eight hundred only) towards provision of medicine to 969 workers and their family members. 3. The facilities like specialist treatment, hospitalization, laboratory test, X-ray would be made available by way of referring the beneficiaries to the Government Head quarters Hospital Tuticorin. 4. The expenditure shall be debited to the following head of account:- "2210 Medical and Public Health-01 Urban Health Services- Allopathy-102 ESI Scheme.I Non Plan AG-Expenditure on ESI Scheme both Insured Persons and their families".66. Medicines (D.P.Code No.2210-01-102-AG-6605)” The expenditure will be initially incurred by the State Government and fully reimbursed by the ESI Corporation for a period of three years from the date of implementation of ESI Scheme in the above area and thereafter, the expenditure shall be shared between the ESI Corporation and the State Government in the agreed ratio of 7:1. 5. Necessary funds will be provided in RE / FMA 2006-07. Pending provision of funds in RE / FMA 2006-07. the Director of Medical and Rural Health Services (ESI) is authorized to draw and incur the expenditure and directed to send proposals to include this expenditure while sending proposal for RE / FMA 2006-07 at appropriate time without fail. 6. The formal Notification under Section 1(3) of the ESI Act, 1948 fixing the date from which the medical facilities shall be extended to the Insured Persons and their families in the above area will be issued by the Central Government. The Director of Medical and Rural Health Services (ESI) shall suggest immediately a suitable date for the extension of the ESI Scheme to the above area after making all the medical arrangements in the said dispensaries in consultation with the Regional Director, ESI Corporation, Chennai. 7. This order issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department vide its U.O.No. 75147/06, L&E. dated 8-12-06 and ASL No. 1126 (One thousand one hundred and twenty six) (BY ORDER OF THE GOVERNOR) R.
