The appended Notification shall be published in the Extraordinary issue of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, both in English and Tamil.

2. The Tamil Development, Culture and ReligioUs Endowments (Translations) Department, Chennai-600 009, is requested to supply the Tamil version of the Notification to the Works Manager, Government Central Press, Chennai- 600 079.

3. The Works Manager, Government Central Press, Chennai-79 is requested to send to the Government 50 copies of Notification as published in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette for record. He is also requested to send 50 copies of the Notification to the Commissioner of Labour Chennai-6 direct.

NOTIFICATION.

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Tamil Nadu Manual Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Work) Amendment Act, 2007 (Tamil Nadu Act 10 of 2007), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby appoints the 22ND June 2007 as the date on which the said Act shall come into force.
