ORDER

In the Government Order first read above, the Government have reconstituted the Tamil Nadu Labour Welfare Board.

2.  The Government  have now decided to reconstitute the Tamil Nadu Labour Welfare Board. The following Notification will be  published      in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette as required under section 6 of the Tamil Nadu Labour Welfare Fund Act,1972 (Tamil Nadu Act 36 of 1972).

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the Tamil Nadu Labour Welfare Fund Act, 1972 (Tamil Nadu Act 36  of 1972), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby  reconstitutes the Tamil Nadu Labour Welfare Board with the Minister incharge of Labour as the Chairman and appoints the following members, namely:-

A. OFFICIAL REPRESENTATIVES.

1. Secretary to Government, Labour and Employment Department.

2.  Secretary to Government, Finance Department.

3. Commissioner of Labour, Chennai -600 006.

4. Chief Inspector of Factories, Chennai -600 005.

B.  REPRESENTATIVES OF EMPLOYERS

1.  A representative of Employers Federation of Southern India, Chennai.

2.  A representative of Southern India Mills Association, Coimbatore.

3.  A representative of Planter’s Association of Tamil Nadu, Coonoor.

4. A representative of Federation of Association of Small Industries of India, Chennai.

5. A representative of All India Manufactures Association, Chennai.

C. REPRESENTATIVES OF EMPLOYEES

1. A representative of Labour Progressive Federation  (LPF)

2. A representative of Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC)
