ORDER:
In the Government order first read above , read with the Government letter No.17044/D1/84-6 Employment Services, dated 27.4.85 orders have been issued reserving 5 seats in each Government I.T.Is of Tamil Nadu for admission to the following categories:-
- i) Ex-servicemen / dependants
ii) Pre-cum-post release personnel and
iii) Territorial Army Personnel.
2. In the Government order third read above, orders were issued fixing order of priority for admission of the wards of defence personnel in the I.T.Is of Tamil Nadu as follows:-
- i) Children of deceased/disabled ex-servicemen including those killed/ disabled during peace time.
- ii) Children of ex-servicemen
- iii) Children of serving Jawans
- iv) Children of serving Officers and
- v) Ex-servicemen.
3. The Commissioner of Employment and Training in his letter 4th read above has requested that the priority fixed for admission of the wards of defence personnel be suitably revised in recognition of their sacrifice/ service rendered to the Nation.
4. The proposal of CET was examined in detail. The Government after careful examination accept the proposal of Commissioner of Employment and Training and accordingly direct that in super session of the orders issued in G.O.Ms.No.264 , Employment Services dated 15.10.86, revise the order of priority for admission of the wards of defence personnel in the I.T.Is of Tamil Nadu for admission during August 2003 onwards , as follows:-
- 1. War disabled Ex- servicemen
- 2. Dependant of killed in war.
- 3. Disabled due to attributable military service.
- 4. Dependant of died while in service attribute of military service.
- 5. Ex-servicemen
- 6. Dependants of Ex-servicemen (including Officers)
- 7. Dependants of serving personnel.
