Part- II Schemes for 2005-2006 –Department of Factories Inspectorate-Purchase of 5 Nos. of "Safety Kit" for the use of Inspecting Officers attached to the regular division of the Deputy Chief Inspector of Factories-Orders-Issued.

Order:-

The Chief Inspector of Factories has submitted a proposal for purchase of 5 Nos. of "Safety Kit" for the use of Inspecting Officers attached to the regular division of the Deputy Chief Inspector of Factories at an ultimate cost of Rs. 10.00 Lakhs (non-recurring expenditure) under Part II Scheme for 2005-2006.

2. After careful examination, the Government accept the proposal of Chief Inspector of Factories and accordingly sanction a sum of Rs. 10.00 lakhs (Rupees Ten lakhs only) as non-recurring expenditure for purchase of 5 Nos. of "Safety Kit" for the use of Inspecting Officers attached to the regular division of the Deputy Chief Inspector of Factories under Part II Scheme for the Financial Year 2005-2006

3. The expenditure sanctioned in paragraph 2 above shall be debited to the following head of account:-

"2230. Labour and employment 01. Labour-102. Working Conditions and Safety-Schemes in the Tenth Five Year Plan- II. State Plan-JG. Strengthening of Factory Inspectorate-19. Machinery and Equipments-01. Purchase".(D.P. code 2230 01 102. JG 1910).

4.The purchase shall be made by following existing tender procedures.

5. The Administrative Officer, Office of the Chief Inspector of Factories, Chennai is authorised to draw and disburse the amount by means of crossed cheque.

6. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance Department-vide its U.O.No. 155 / IS (Per.) / 2005 dated 27.05.2005.
