ORDER:-

The following Notification will be published in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette.

NOTIFICATION

WHEREAS the Industries manufacturing steam generating equipments like high pressure boilers, Valves, Fittings Pressure Vessels has been declared to be a Public Utility Service for the purpose of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (Central Act XIV/1947), for a period of six months upto and inclusive of the 14th March 2005 in the Labour and Employment Department Notification No.II(2)/LE/811/2004, dated the 26th August 2004 published at pages 448 to 449 of Part II-Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, dated the 15th September 2004.

AND WHEREAS, the Governor of Tamil Nadu is of the opinion that Public interest requires the extension of the period for a further period of six months;

NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-clause (vi) of clause (n) of section 2 read with the proviso thereto of the said Act, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby extends the period specified above for a further period of six months commencing from the date of publication of the Notification in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette.
