ORDER:-

The following Notification will be published in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette.

NOTIFICATION

Whereas the Industries Manufacturing Boiler Auxiliaries for High Pressure Boilers has been declared to be a Public Utility Service for the purpose of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (Central Act XIV/1947), for a period of six months upto and inclusive of the 28/03/2005 in the Labour and Employment Department Notification No.II(2)/LE/857/2004 dated the 29/09/2004 published at page 488 of Part II-Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, dated the 29/09/2004.

And whereas, the Governor of Tamil Nadu is of opinion that Public interest requires the extension of the period for a further period of six months;

Now, therefore, in exercise of powers conferred by sub-clause (vi) of clause (n) of section 2 read with the proviso thereto of the said Act, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby extends the period specified above for a further period of six months commencing from the date of publication of the Notification in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette.
