ORDER :
The Government have considered that the expenditure incurred under "24.Materials and Supplies" (non-plan) towards supply of raw materials to the students in Govt. I.T.Is does not correspond with the receipts of the Department. Hence, the Director of Employment and Training was requested to examine the question of revising the existing rates of fees, charges and levies of receipt and send proposals to Government.
2. The Director of Employment and Training has stated that nowadays, the industrial techniques and systems are changing rapidly and most of the firm are liking to introduce themselves as manufacturers, stockists, dealers and suppliers of various products and the firms are earnestly requesting the Directorate to enroll their names in the list of approved suppliers. Applications are invited for vendor registration in the trades like electricals, electronics, automobiles, computer / accessories, Photography, Leather etc. and 25 firms approximately registering their names as approved supplier.
3. He has proposed the following revision of charges :-
(1) A sum of Rs.200/- which is collected by way of chalan for each trade for registration of firms as approved suppliers of stores, for the Department of Director of Employment and Training may be enhanced to Rs.300/-.
(2) The sealed tenders are invited for supply of machineries and equipments required for various trades at I.T.Is as per schedules prescribed therein and Tender Schedule covering automobile, welding equipments, electrical and electronic equipments etc. which are sold at the rate of Rs.150/- per each schedule may be raised Rs.250/- per schedule.
(3) Tender Schedule covering computer sold at the rate of Rs.225/- may be raised to Rs.350/-.
(4) The Government after careful examination, accept the proposal of the Director of Employment and Training and direct that the existing rates of fees, charges and levies of receipts in Government I.T.Is under the control of Director of Employment and Training be revised as follows with immediate effect subject to the condition to remit the receipts under relevant receipts head of account and on expiry of validity, the firms should apply for registration :-

5. The Director of Employment and Training is requested to examine the revision of above charges once in three years and send necessary proposal to Government.
6. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance Department vide its U.O.No. 18328/L&E/2001-1, dt. 19-3-2002.
