ORDER:

In the Government Order 1st read above, orders have been issued for approving the proposal of the Commissioner of Labour Rs. 1.25 Crores, towards implementation of the Action Plan for Eradication of Child Labour upto 2007 under Hon'ble Chief Minsiter's 15 Point Programme. A sum of Rs. 25 lakhs was initially sanctioned to the State Child Labour Rehabilitation-cum-Welfare Society for implementing the Action Plan at District Level and State Level for the year 2003-2004.

2. In the letter 2nd read above, the Commissioner of Labour has stated that for the year 2004-2005, a sum of Rs.30.00 lakhs has been allotted in B.E. 2004-2005 and requested that a sum of Rs. 30.00 lakhs (Rupees Thirty Lakhs only) may be sanctioned for the year 2004-2005, so as to implement the Action Plan for 2004-2005.

3. The Government have carefully examined the proposal of the Commissioner of Labour in para 2 above. Sanction is accorded for a sum of Rs. 12.00 lakhs (Rupees Twelve Lakhs only) being 40% of the Budget provision for the 2004-2005 to the State Child Labour Rehabilitation-cum-Welfare Society for implementing the Action Plan on Child Labour at District Level and State Level.

4.The amount sanctioned in para 3 above shall be debited to the following head of account:-

"2235 - Social Security and Welfare-02 Social Welfare-102 Child Welfare - Schemes in the 10th Five Year Plan -II State Plan - KG-Assistance to State Child Labour Rehabilitation-cum-Welfare Society -09 Grants in aid -01 Grants for current expenditure (DPC No.2235 02 - 102 -KG 0914)

5. The Commissioner of Labour is authorised to draw and disburse the amount to the above society. He is also requested to send the utilisation certificate for the amount previously sanctioned for the year 2003-2004.

6. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance Department vide its U.O.50703/L&E/04 dated.3.8.2004.
